Located at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich at the Dübendorf airfield, ETH Hangar is an innovation hub connecting industry and academia through collaborative projects.

Already today, four student competition teams are successfully realizing technical challenges – be it the development of electric aircrafts (Cellsius), space technologies (ARIS), race cars (AMZ) or hyperloop pods (Swissloop).

Besides, it is possible to gain an insight into one of its research projects in the spotlight – the “Center for Immersive Wave Experimentation” (CIWE) from ETH’s Exploration and Environmental Geophysics group. At ETH Hangar, the group is researching a new approach to seismic wave experimentation in three different set-ups.

Please note that either the competition teams or the CIWE will be presented during a visit.
